If like myself you've lost your default nv_data.bin and there for looking through countless forum posts about "rebuilding your nv_data.bin" file which has a crypto version of your imei data, then I'm afraid that this method is false. There are post both here and XDA explaining this method of "rebuilding" the file, and I assume from a pre-stored copy of a "good" nv_data.bin file. If you don't want to manually transcribe the data over to a message you could snap a screen shot of the hex editor with these lines visible and post.Īs far as I understand that section of the nv_data.bin has information relating to the hand sets location.
